Verdict

A race that appears to revolve around the in-form Rebel Swing, who is now being asked to defy a further 9lb rise for winning at Uttoxeter last time. He remains unexposed, but he has gone up around 20lb in total for recent successes and the percentage call is to take him on with SONARA. Howard Johnson's raids here are legendary and he is not averse to pulling off an upset. This six-year-old has not won for a while but stays very well, acts on fast ground and comes here fit from a spin on the Flat, so we will chance him. An on-song Osolomio would be a danger, while support for fast ground distance winner Lady Wright is likely to be significant. Of Course would appear better on soft ground, though neither King Penda nor Inner Voice are ruled out.
