In depth

Verdict

Mrs O¿Malley has the form to win this at the expense of Scrappie and Toy Gun . The selection steps up in trip after winning here over two and a half miles and coming from a yard that can do little wrong of late he has to be very much respected here. Scrappie carries top weight and is still a maiden after ten outings. Having said that he was to good effect when second to Star Player here last time out. He runs off the same mark again so is short listed. As is Toy Gun is has been put up 13 pounds for winning at Ayr last time out and will now find life tough. So for the winner we return to Mrs O¿Malley.
