Verdict

Avondhu Pearl is still searching for a first win over timber after 12 attempts though found only one too good at Sedgefield last time. SWEET VINETTA is preferred as she scored in novice company at at Catterick in December and ran well for fourth in heavy going at Hexham on her recent handicap debut. Canny Style has struggled since scoring at Sedgefield last year and Amberose disappointed last tiem having finished runner-up at Ayr before that when ahead of Jessiemac. Lady Samback was placed on good ground at Kelso earlier but failed to complete in soft going earlier this month.
