        Verdict

        PHIJEE was clear of the rest when beaten only a nose at Newbury on his racecourse debut. He should go close if handling the forecast slower ground. Cut in the ground will be no problem for Baie d'Amour who finished second at Hamilton last month while Local Artist was runner-up over track and trip on her penultimate start and Vintage Dream finished a lot closer when fourth at Thirsk last time. Intense Romance is related to no less than eight winners and is a newcomer to note.
