In depth
Verdict
Enrique, Virgin Soldier and Lisdante look the ones to concentrate on here and we will take a chance on Virgin Soldier. The gelding Alan Swinbank yard won well last time out when defeating Divet Hill, his jumping was more fluent there and he won with plenty in hand. He is taken to score again with conditions again in his favour. Enrique rates the main danger he defeated Golfagent in good style last time out and he to will like the ground but he may struggle to give weight and a beating to the selection. Lisdante is also worthy of respect on his best form but he was very disappointing last time so for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Free To Run could also go well but he ran as if in the handicappers grip when second behind Swansea Bay last time so we are happy to stick with Virgin Soldier.
