In depth

Verdict

Vintage Star got off the mark over hurdles when scoring over a shorter trip here earlier this month. He looks sure to be thereabouts once again despite a penalty, but SEE WHAT HAPPENS is just preferred. Martin Todhunter's charge was beaten only a length when runner-up over today's trip at Wetherby on last month's hurdling debut and is taken to go one better. Hurdling debutants to note include dual bumper winner Anychancedave and April's point-to-point winner Avenging Ace, while Soudain and Dreamers Of Dreams are others to keep an eye on.
