Verdict
It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up for the Nicky Richards-trained Etched In Stone who has been off the track for 689 days and he has to be one to consider but a safer bet looks to be Le Rouge Fatal, who gets the vote over Aviation. The last mentioned has run well in both starts this season and has fairly been raised 1lb for a creditable effort when narrowly beaten at Sedgefield last time. Ferdy Murphy has his string in good form at present and his runner Kingsbury is entitled to come on for his reappearance run at Carlisle earlier this month so has to be respected. Hi Dancer may struggle to give weight away all round and a safer bet looks to be Le Rouge Fatal, who was good value for his win at Carlisle earlier this month and Martin Todhunter's gelding is taken to defy the 7lb penalty for that success.
