In depth

Verdict

AVIEWTOSEA was no match for a well-backed favourite when runner-up at Chepstow on his debut under Rules but he’ll be straighter for that pipe-opener and a bold bid looks likely. Guardino finished runner-up in an Irish point-to-point back in February and cost £170,000 at the sales. He’s preferred to Here We Have It, who has failed to win between the flags in eight attempts. Mozzaro showed little improvement at Uttoxeter last time but Backpacker is a half-brother to a bumper and hurdles winner and is a newcomer to note.
