Verdict
Not a race that will take a great deal of winning and Hilites is the choice ahead of City Affair and Jerome while Fictional is also worthy of consideration. Hilites was understandably outclassed in Listed company last time but had previously shaped well when placed in maidens at Sandown and Warwick and also ran creditably in a valuable sales race at The Curragh. This represents her easiest opportunity for some time and it will be disappointing if Stan Moore's filly cannot take full advantage. There was plenty of support for City Affair on her recent debut and Sir Mark Prescott's charge ran an encouraging third which suggests she can take a hand at the finish at this level. Fictional was only narrowly denied a winning debut at Pontefract and will be sharper for the experience while Jerome is a little exposed but has the form to run in to a place but Hilites looks the answer in the opener.
