Trip and ground look ideal for UN GUET APENS in a contest where most have a chance. The Ewart course and distance winner looked to find 3m beyond him here last time but showed he handles this trip and track when obliging here in November. He does run off a 6lb higher mark now but a repeat of that winning performance will see him go close. Verona Opera is expected to benefit from the return to fences and Chidswell and Pistol Park should deliver sooner rather than later. The latter looks noteworthy here off his current mark and is nominated as the main danger with the step up in trip expected to suit. Calipto is dropping to a useful mark and Bright Prospect ties in closely with Chidswell and has place claims.
