    Verdict

LOCKED IN THE POCKET gets the nod in an open heat. Timmy Murphy's mount (for his in-laws) went up in the weights for a solid Newcastle second but he still looks able to win off this mark of 103 now tackling fences. Tchikita is rated better than four starts to date by trainer James Ewart, and along with Dallas Bell and Primrose Time he is respected. French recruit Roudoudou Ville is likely to make more of an impact now tackling fences over here, whist Lindseyfield Lodge is only 4lbs higher than his Kelso win last time but faces very different ground here. Pete is another gelding who is interesting now tackling fences but his long absence may just leave him vulnerable late on. The in-form Stolen Light joins the chasing debutant (and JP McManus-owned) Sundown Trail on the list of dangers.
