Verdict

BOSS DES MOTTES was behind easy winner My Renaissance and recent Hexham scorer Reverse The Charge at Sedgefield in May but needed that run. He is better off at the weights with both and was third in this last year when 5lb higher. The strike-rate of Harry Hogarth’s charge is off-putting but he should give a good account off the back of seconds here and at Southwell. Alizee De Janeiro has only gone up 3lb for winning at Perth and is an obvious danger but Code Of Law seems better at Fontwell than elsewhere. Red Tortue needs more but Trust Thomas is starting to look well treated, though has been out of sorts.
