In depth

Verdict

JOHNSON’S BLUE won six races last year and connections have remained patient in their campaigning of their charge having seen him subsequently land a decent prize at Haydock in February. Name In Lights is Joe Tizzard’s only runner of the meeting so any market support should not be dismissed lightly. It’s taken a while for Judicial Law to start justifying his purchase price but he has proved impressive in back-to-back victories at Worcester and Huntingdon. Bread And Butter was second in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown Festival while the evergreen Glinger Flame proved at Hexham that he still retains plenty of zest for the task.
