Verdict
Boris The Blade is a bit of enigma but perfectly capable of giving these a run for their money, though fast ground wouldn't be ideal. It should suit TARTAN TIGER, however, and he stays well. He ran a respectable race on his return from a lengthy absence at Carlisle and could be the one in this finale if that hasn't taken too much out of him. Sam Lord may be a doubtful stayer but Welsh Bard won over 2m6f at Sedgefield a year ago and only found one too good at Carlisle last time. He makes more appeal than the one-paced Kapricorne.
