Verdict
AMERICAN ART can make a winning debut at the principal expense of Dantari and Foresight. A useful performer on the flat for Barry Hills, he was a fairly cheap 15000 guineas at the sales and at a track that can favour those that race prominently, his flat speed can assist in repaying the first instalment. Dantari looks stiffly handicapped at present so these races are tailor made for him. He will need a career best in order to give away penalties all around. Foresight was a fair second in a Bangor contest last month before being caught out over a longer trip. Galley Slave represents a yard that have enjoyed plenty of success at this meeting over the years though the figures suggest he has it to do. The remainder have shown precious little to write home about. American Art will be a short price but conditions are in his favour today.
