The market may give us some clues here, with nearly half the field having their first run, but we think SOCIAL GRACE can step up from a pleasing debut to land the spoils, and gets the vote ahead of Gower Sophia and Oondiri. The Brown yard is small, but effective, and although Social Grace doesn¿t have a great draw, a repeat of her debut could be enough. She was beaten by an odds on shot, and although running a little green early on, quickly buckled down, and could prove to be a bargain for connections, who only paid 5,000 guineas for her, and who've entered her for the Super Sprint in July. Gower Sophia continues in maiden company after three pleasing runs this year. She's well drawn and looks capable of winning at this sort of level, Oondiri qualifies for a handicap mark after this, and also looks to be a scopey sort, but is poorly drawn here, alongside Social Grace. David Barron's two year olds are going well, so any support for Tsar Bomba could be significant on his debut. Our preference though is for Social Grace.
