        Verdict

        New Zealand import Kabla has been knocking at the door in novice hurdles lately and must go close in this run-of-the-mill event. Basinet was a neck ahead of French Tune at Sedgefield last time, and they reoppose on the same terms. Both come into the reckoning. Nick Littmoden runs the hurdling debutant Mutared who, despite his winning form coming at shorter trips, proved he stayed 10 furlongs on the level. Noble House is stoutly bred, while Prince Millennium was is a modest maiden at up to 10 furlongs on the Flat. Dazzling Rio's second in a similar event at Cartmel last time gives her place claims but The Count has been beaten in sellers.
