Verdict

Vocal Duke won over hurdles at this meeting last year while Gold Link has found only one too good in his last four starts over the smaller obstacles. CHAMP DE GANE has the edge in experience over his rivals and could be the one to beat if transferring his form at Ayr to this track, though A Different Kind will have learned plenty from his chasing bow at Warwick where a bad blunder put paid to his chances. Al Zaraqaan has won nine of his 28 career starts but is best watched at present.
