Vocal Duke, Battle Of Toro and last year’s winner Alqamar were all well behind the impressive SNOOKERED (NAP) here last month. Brian Ellison’s charge is 5lb higher today but still well treated on past form and Izzie Marshall takes off 7lb again. Jamacho is only climbing the ratings slowly despite back-to-back wins at Worcester and Stratford and Bellaney Gem is better than she showed at Perth two weeks ago. Curious Times and Kerosine Light are others worth a second look, though Mandocello’s latest win at Uttoxeter has been franked and he looks a bigger danger on handicap debut.
