Verdict
Another large field goes to post for this maiden hurdle but on closer inspection not many can be given a chance of winning and this looks a good opportunity for Johnny Oscar to score. The gelding from the Venita Williams yard was a fair third on his debut behind Gebora. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and he will not be far away with conditions in his favour. Rascella rates the main danger on his latest effort behind Kidithou. That rival has since franked the form so he should not be far away. Thunder Canyon would be another worthy of consideration on his best form. However he was very disappointing on his debut this season and he may be best watched here. Toejam is another that could go well as he was a good second behind High Drama last time but he has had many chances. Of the remainder Jabulani is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
