Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this hunter chase and the confident vote goes to Nordic Crest. The nine year old has been in top form between the flags of late, he will relish the fast ground and he will not be far away with the top amateur Gino Carenza taking the ride. Victoria's Boy would have a chance on his best form under rules but he has become disappointing of late however he is another that will relish the fast ground. Dr Deductible looked an improving sort this season but he was disappointing behind Westerton last time. However that could be put down to the rain softened ground. Underly Park is a course and distance winner in this grade but he will find this harder under his penalty. Of the remainder Donnegale could also go well but his best efforts come when he gets an easy lead and he is not guaranteed that here. The remainder need to improve on there latest efforts to trouble the judge.
