Verdict

Gary Hanmer has shown his ability to find improvement from other’s castoffs so SUNSHINE GIRL has to be of appeal on just a second start for the handler. Unwanted Attention got her head in front at Uttoxeter in a race where very few hurdles were jumped due to the low sun so that form may need to be treated with a little caution. Blended Stealth is a long-standing maiden so it was a surprise to see the six-year-old heavily backed on a debut for Lizzie Quinlan having left Nigel Twiston-Davies. Native Fighter never figured on his latest visit to Cartmel while Tip Top Tonto is likely to have stripped fitter for two runs following a year’s absence from the track.
