Verdict

Sonic is looking a risky proposition nowadays, falling in a match at Bangor last time when under pressure. Jimmy Moffatt runs two in this but Richard Johnson rides THE STEWARD (NAP), who looks the one to be on. Three times a winner on the all-weather, he’s found only one too good in all three starts to date over timber in better races than this. Rubenesque stayed well on the Flat but she’s changed stables since her third at Hexham. Lucky Lucarno was behind the selection here last month while Siannes Star was beaten 13 lengths in a lower grade when second at Market Rasen.
