Verdict

Brother Scott bids for back-to-back victories in this and a third course and distance victory but has finished tailed off in his last three starts. Shine Away and Martha's Benefit have also won over track and trip and the latter was successful off this mark over hurdles at Uttoxeter only nine days ago. Rose Dobbin’s has her string in good form and Minella Suite may benefit from a drop in distance. Isle Road has won his last two but carries a penalty for his victory at Stratford 10 days ago and Boy's On Tour has gone up 4lb for winning at Perth. Eager To Know was second last time at Hexham but has no form on going this quick. FIT FOR FIFTY is only a tentative selection but should have more to offer after just two runs over fences and is worth another try over a longer trip given he was once placed over 3m between the flags. Shine Away could also figure if back on-song.
