    In depth

    Verdict

This should not take a great deal of winning and, having won with plenty in hand when successful on good to soft ground at Perth last month KALATIME is taken to follow up that victory off a 9lb higher mark today, getting the vote ahead of Pugnacity and On My Terms. James Lambe's gelding has been well held in recent starts but they have been in better company than this and he has to be considered being dropped into a seller. Uptown Lad faces no easy task giving weight away all round and could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Art Gallery ran well when second in a Wetherby seller in May but he has been raised 4lbs since then. James Moffatt's Dec Approved is less exposed than most of these but needs to improve on all known form to trouble the selection. Diane Sayer's Pugnacity returns to hurdles having run better over fences last time and has to be considered but Kalatime won with plenty in hand at Perth last time and can follow up.
