PADDINGTON BOB may be able to step up to the plate and heads the short-list from Strumble Head and Zelos Diktator. The selection was supported into 7-4 favourite for his most recent outing at Perth but failed to justify the market support in finishing third, beaten over twenty lengths. He drops in grade here and is given another chance with Timmy Murphy taking over in the saddle a positive given that he has been a profitable jockey to follow at this track in recent years. Zelos Diktator failed to fire at Hexham but he had run on well to land a seller at Wetherby prior to that and could figure on that form but Strumble Head may prove to be a more reliable proposition as he moves into handicap company on a realistic mark and at a realistic level; the market may be revealing with regard to his chances. Quick Man is unexposed and is another worth keeping an eye on in the market whilst Rawaaj hails from a yard in-form that enjoys plenty of success here so also enters calculations along with Hows Trix and Baltimore Patriot but preference is for Paddington Bob.
