The Crawford team have managed to secure the services of Richard Johnson and Brian Hughes for their two contenders but neither A Touch Of Sparkle nor Knocklayde Sno Cat have shown overly much to date and may be worth taking on. Dont Tell Val is an interesting contender for Fergal O'Brien and the lightly-raced mare may well improve for this step-up in distance, whilst the likes of River Icon and Gretta Rose, the latter a recent point-to-point scorer, are possibles. However, BRIDANE REBEL also has obliged between the flags and shaped favourably on her hurdling debut over an inadequate trip at Hexham. She's sure to appreciate this distance and should give us a good run for our money.
