    Verdict

An open little handicap can go to the consistent Hypnosis with Ashes and Overwing two for the shortlist. The selection wasn't beaten far last time out (suffered some interference in the final furlong when carried badly right by the winner) and having won over course and distance before, David Barker's ultra consistent filly gets the vote. Ashes is out of the handicap but still warrants a mention having run well on her last two starts. She should be watched in the market (drifted badly last time out) for signs of confidence. Mimi Mouse has won off an 8lb higher mark in the past so should go well having advertised her well-being last time out, whilst Overwing is better on the turf so can go close, although she may prefer an extra furlong really. An open race, but Hypnosis is the most consistent and can get her head back in front.
