Verdict
MAD MILLIE is our idea of the most likely winner with Ellies Image and Choc'a'moca on the shortlist of dangers. David O'Meara's filly put up a fair effort in defeat at Thirsk last time out and having not attracted the attentions of the handicapper, is allowed to chance her arm off the same mark this afternoon. Ellies Image has a moderate draw though Paul Hanagan's booking aboard the course and distance winner has to be regarded as more a help than a hindrance. Choc'a'moca ran too freely at York last time but did account for Rescent when the pair met at Musselburgh previously. Powerful Pierre reverts to handicapping having gone close in sellers. It is seldom that the Easterby clan have left the Yorkshire tracks without a winner so do not discount Thinking from your calculations. A winner on good-to-firm, his recent effort at Ayr can be put down to the very different soft going. Dandy Nicholls had winners at will at the back end of last week so Regal Emperor is watched in the market. Mad Millie is our suitor in the last.
