Mazin Lady shaped as if her turn is near when she finished a close up second at Redcar last month and is fancied to deliver on the promise today - possibly with the most to fear from a couple of the newcomers; Inverted and Bond Platinum Club. The last named is a half-sister to the useful Lord Kintyre and can be expected to pay her way before too long. As a March foal, she is obviously a late developer and is one to monitor as she gain in experience. Inverted has plenty of winners in his pedigree and, as he is from the same family as the dam of Lake Coniston, he is also one for the future. Anne Duffield has been profitable to follow with her two-year-olds at Catterick, so a market move could prove to be significant. However, Mazin Lady has the edge in terms of experience and, as she can be expected to knuckle down when asked for effort; the daughter of Kyllachy is readily preferred on this occasion.
