Verdict

Although Ferdy Murphy has a runner in the race, Graham Lee is sticking with JUKEBOX MELODY and the move can pay off. He has been on board when Malcolm Jefferson's charge won bumpers at Market Rasen and Musselburgh and his mount looks a real prospect over jumps. Ebony River has run well enough over hurdles to suggest he will take some beating and the longer trip will suit while Tim Vaughan's Irish import Ruby Bay, a winner between the flags at Maralin last March, is one to note on his debut under Rules. Flaygray landed a Perth bumper last year and didn't do too badly in a better race at Haydock subsequently but Dr Flynn hasn't shown much aptitude for hurdling so far.
