Verdict
ALASKAN WING (NAP) just failed to land a hat-trick when narrowly beaten over 5f at Hamilton. He scored over track and trip earlier and is preferred to Solar Spirit, who has won the last two renewals and has decent claims once again. Tavener is upped in class after scoring at Thirsk while Asha went close at the same track on her latest start. Koptoon won a couple of plating races on the all-weather in June but has yet to score on Turf and Armelle looks high enough in the weights.
