        Verdict

        The Nifty Fox won well at Musselburgh last month over five furlongs but Tim Easterby's gelding is not certain to appreciate the step up to six today and preference is for another last time out winner BONNIE PRINCE BLUE, who gets the verdict ahead of Rio Cobolo. Paul Green's colt has been running consistently well of late having only been out of the frame once in his last nine starts but that was on a softer surface so he may struggle again today unless the ground dries out. Jeremy Glover's Luscivious has shown his best form on the Fibresand, while Misaro is another that would probably want faster ground. Northern Bolt has been running well of late and the David Nicholls-trained gelding has solid claims off a fair mark. He looks one of the main dangers to the selection and stable companion Bonnie Prince Blue. Good value for his win over course and distance last month, the six-year-old has an obvious chance under his penalty.
