      Verdict

Pay Time, Hits Only Jude and Sam's Secret all make some sort of appeal and we are with Pay Time. The mare was probably over the top when beaten at Musselburgh but she has run well here in the past and with the trainer in form, the booking of Paul Hanagan appears significant. Hits Only Jude is watched in the market. He has been in good nick on the all-weather although is yet to get his head infront on the turf. Sams Secret stays further than this and is watched in the market on seasonal reappearance. Trailblazing Nuit Sombre is sure to be sent off in the front runners role. Tencendeur almost got home last time but the handicapper has had plenty of chances to do his sums. King Harson wins in his turn but that is now beginning to look overdue these days. Hiccups is probably better on softer going. Woody Valentine had previously shown decent form for Mark Johnston on the level but having left Venetia Williams, he has shown little on recent starts for Dianne Sayer. Imperial Echo steps up in trip. Pay Time is the pick.
