More of the entries arrive in good form for this second division and some of the fancied horses have also been more fortunate in the draw. North Central hails from a yard in top form and scored over 6f here last month and Dhhamaan ran very well over the C&D a month ago behind Powerful Presence. However, Ruth Carr's charge had no answer to VIKING WARRIOR at Thirsk three weeks ago and though the latter has been raised 4lb it doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. Lady Excel has been steadily dropping in the weights and led for a long way over a mile at Pontefract last time.
