Verdict
HOPE AGAINST HOPE finished the closest on her latest start when runner-up at Redcar. But she gets only a tentative vote given The Nazca Lines has a decent fourth at York in his form figures and will go close with a repeat. The latter makes more appeal than Springforth, placed in plating company the last three times now, while Shadow Wing was behind Yes You at Nottingham earlier, though posted a much better effort at Ripon recently without threatening the winner.
