      Verdict

      Broxi completed a Musselburgh double before an excellent run in the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York. He couldn't handle the step-up to Group 2 company in Doncaster's Champagne Stakes though led for a long way. Paws For Thought obviously likes sharp tracks as he made all for an easy victory at Chester, with Blowing Wind almost 4 lengths behind, and defied a 6lb penalty for an even more impressive success over this track and trip for which he's 11lb higher. The Chester runner-up is 8lb better off so should get closer while London Palladium has been taking on stronger company since scoring at Redcar. With a couple of these likely to blast off quickly, it could set the race up for OUTRUN THE STORM, who finished with a real flourish to land a Class 2 nursery over 6f at Ayr.
