In depth

Verdict

Bridgewater Boys earns the vote ahead of the likes of Campbells Lad, Mangrove Cay and Explode to name but a few. Since landing a seller at Southwell in March, Bridgewater Boys has been quite consistent, having been placed on two of his last three starts, at Lingfield and more recently here at Catterick, when second to Campbells Lad. He can now meet that rival on 11lb better terms, and is also well in with the third Explode on today's terms. The latter in turn is also better off with Campbells Lad and can make a bid for the frame again, while of the rest, No Commission is fit from a spell over timber, and Mangrove Cay ran well at Southwell when dropped back to this sort of trip on his last outing in May. He is likely to need this though, and at the weights we much prefer the claims of Bridgewater Boys.
