Verdict

TRIXIE MALONE (NAP) returned to action on soft ground around this time a year ago and completed a hat-trick in similar conditions. Her form tailed off as the season developed but she's obviously at home in the conditions and, providing the ground doesn't dry out, she can make a successful reappearance again. Stonefield Flyer landed a similar event at Lingfield in January but hasn't won on Turf for almost four years and Mon Brav could offer more of a threat. Brian Ellison's charge has won eight times in his career though never beyond 6f though this is an easy track and his quality will make him competitive. Cara's Request has won the same number of times and he's very much at home over the trip and ground.
