        Verdict

        Ballybunion continues in good form and should make a bold bid to land the hat-trick, however Seven No Trumps looks the pick of the weights today and he gets the vote ahead of Sir Loin. Milton Bradley's nine-year-old has been steadily sliding down the handicap after starting the campaign rated in the sixties. He showed signs of a form revival last time when third at Bath, and in what is little better than a banded race, he should go very close. Ballybunion has landed two recent handicaps by narrow margins, but has now been put up six pounds. He should still be involved in the finish but will find it hard to win off this weight. Sir Loin was quite an impressive winner last time and should again play a major role. The same applies to Compton Classicm, a game winner at Ayr last time. Chairman Bobby is another worthy of a mention, but we return to Seven No Trumps for the likeliest winner.
