In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in an open contest though Ghost Queen is upped in class carrying a penalty for winning over track and trip last week and Stronsay is 5lb higher than when scoring at Thirsk in August. Godolphin’s Al Mureib disappointed last time and Reeves steps back up in trip after going close in maiden company while Sky Defender won a novices' race at Musselburgh last month and makes his handicap debut along with LOCH NESS MONSTER. The latter found Listed company at Doncaster too hot last time but won a maiden in good style before that and gets another chance.
