In depth
Verdict
Fruit N Nut went for £40,000 after finishing second in a point at Ballycrystal in October and had few problems making a successful debut for Donald McCain in a Musselburgh bumper. There should be more to come but he has to concede 15lb to TOUTATIS, who was just touch off in a four-way photo at Kempton last month and can make the weight concession count. Vossi ran much better than his 66/1 SP would have suggested at Newcastle and looks certain to give a good account but Jay Jay Reilly needs to improve from what we have seen so far. Sinister Minister, who is related to several winners, and the well-connected Sir Jimmy Allen are newcomers to note.
