Verdict
Hit's Only Money gets the vote, with Word Perfect, Bollin Michael and Cool Sands all likely to make their presence felt as well. This race is named in honour of the former David Barron inmate Gods Solution who managed to notch up eight wins here from a total of 11 career victories. Two of those were gained under a certain D Nicholls who has a soft spot for the race, hence his multiple entries, so the market should be noted to see if it reveals which one is fancied the most. None of them make great appeal though, and we prefer the claims of Hit's Only Money who is very well handicapped on form of old. He has not had a great deal of racing lately, in fact just three outings this year, and as long as he handles the cut in the ground, can build on his promising Wolverhampton outing to bounce back to form. Word Perfect ran a blinder on her return at Pontefract eight days ago, staying on the trough the heavy ground to finish third despite a wide draw. The step, up in trip will help and she looks a major player. Bollin Michael is open to improvement but may be best watched on his handicap debut, while Cool Sands had the run of the race when scoring narrowly at Lingfield last month and will need things to fall right again to figure. Hit's Only Money is just a tentative selection.
