        Verdict

        The progressive CLIFF FACE may be good enough to shrug off a penalty under a leading amateur and land a hat-trick having won convincingly at Brighton a week ago. Orboorr also carries 6lb extra for his win at Carlisle under today’s amateur while recent apprentice race winner Zamoyski escapes a penalty for his victory at Haydock. The Kid’s rider takes 5lb off his back while Mick Easterby and Joanna Mason teamed-up to win last year’s renewal but today’s representative Aldreth would prefer a longer trip and Neuf Des Coeurs makes more appeal.
