Verdict

Kilkenny-based handler Ellmarie Holden is going well in her first season. She had her first winner on the Flat at Gowran on Wednesday and Sir Jack Yeats has been running well enough over hurdles to get into contention. SAM KING landed a point-to-point in June and was a very impressive all-the-way winner of a Downpatrick maiden hurdle on Sunday. Chasing should be his game and he can make a successful debut over the bigger obstacles. Bye Bye O Bye has been in excellent form over timber all year and should make a chaser. He was narrowly beaten by Just Likeold Times when receiving 3lb over hurdles at Kilbeggan and the latter has subsequently made a very encouraging start over fences at Tipperary. Hurry Kitty started favourite in that latter event after some smart performances but fell at the seventh. Simiel has scope and is one for the future along with the four-year-old Overtures.
