In depth
Verdict
Most have these are dual purpose horses and Tonto's Spirit returns to the Flat with decent claims having won over course and distance in the past. He has a good strike rate in this code and is preferred to both Brotherly Company and Diodorus while Cotton Club would prefer faster going. But it was testing ground when MAID IN MANHATTEN won over 1m6f at Nottingham earlier and she’d scored over 2m at Wetherby before that. Back over today’s trip for the first time since, Rebecca Menzies’ mare gets the vote.
