        Verdict

        BROCKHOLES (NAP) made a winning start in handicaps with an impressive three-length success over 7f here a fortnight ago. Clear of the rest two furlongs out on that occasion, this shorter trip should not inconvenience Ann Duffield’s filly. Spirit of Zeb was all out to hold on for a narrow victory at Hamilton last time and is 5lb higher today but Mishaal has been getting closer as he slips further down the weights. Manatee Bay has been treading water off similar marks so far this year while Ustinov is 4lb higher than his latest win as he makes a belated seasonal debut.
