Verdict

The handicap that closes the card might be poor in terms of quality but it's none the less competitive so it might just be best to side with decent good form and NEO'S MATE ahead of Sea Salt and Party In The Park. The pick has been running at the top of his limited talents for his last three starts including a win under this on form jockey last time. The form from his penultimate start is as rock solid as it comes too and with his yard still firing he has the best claims under a fair looking mark. Sea Salt also tasted success on his last start and based on the pick of his old form the six pounds penalty still leaves him under a competitive burden. Party In The Park has run well in defeat off this mark in his last two starts so another bold bid can be expected while Not Now Lewis won three starts ago when three pounds better off and in this company is a challenger. We end with a whimper rather than a bang but in a poor contest Neo's Mate can be the punter's pal.
