Verdict

Stroom Bank, Shady Merlin and Two Tony's Sham are the three to look at here and Stroom Bank is taken to come out on top. Two Tony's Sham is not the most consistent of types but has run well at Market Rasen and Sedgefield. His recent efforts have been over hurdles and the bigger obstacles may show this lightly raced type in a better light. Shady Merlin was a disappointment over hurdles last time but had earlier run well to be second at Market Rasen over fences. If reverting back to that sort of form he must go close. Stroom Bank ran well on ground with cut in it at Towcester before finding the ground a bit quick at Sedgefield next time, finishing fourth. the ground is likely to be more to his liking here and his form seems the most consistent. Stroom Bank can score here.
