Verdict

REBEL SOLDIER BOY found one too good again stepped up to this trip at Leicester but was only beaten a neck and it’s possible cheekpieces will help him finally get his head in front today. Vitare is the danger on all known form but he is also proving hard to place. It would be no surprise to see My Friend Stan in the firing-line while Trumpets Call, now blinkered, will have needed his run at Haydock and has shown his best form over this trip. Habanero Star was well supported last time but she has three lengths to find with Vitare.
